Snow in Ripley

Finally snow has arrived in Ripley - although many are hoping that it wont be for long.

With snow already settling this afternoon, even more is forecast for this evening and night time. There has been no news of school or road closures yet - many roads in Ripley have been gritted to ensure that there are no hazards to vehicles. However, it is advised that drivers should still be very cautious on the roads.

No more snow is forecast (yet!) for Sunday, but that may change.
